Another new item available in my Etsy shop. (This could get to be a habit!) A one-of-a-kind stunner: the Day at the Beach Necklace. Sterling, lapis lazuli, and red aventurine. The combination just reminded me of a warm summer day. Or maybe it's just wishful thinking because it's currently snowing out!...
I love when my customers suggest something that's a great idea that didn't necessarily occur to me. I created a necklace that used these elongated riveted loop elements with a bead as part of the chain. The customer asked if I make earrings like that. *doh!* Well, I do now! I currently have them available with three different beads: a warm, orangy red aventurine, a cool green 
aventurine and sweet yellow jade (see photo). I've oxidized the loop, then tumbled it for a nice gun-metal grey. The earwires wrap around the top. A design that I'd like to think is sort of unique. I call them Valerie Earrings and they are available in my Etsy shop.
A large green aventurine dangles in the center of a twisted band of sterling. The ends are 
riveted together with ball of fine silver. I call them Odyssey and they are for sale in my Etsy shop. I'm going to be offering different beads for these too. I currently have rose quartz, peach aventurine, a dark green stone
(that no one has been able to positively ID for me) and a kick-ass lipstick red diamond-shaped Czech glass bead.
