Another new item available in my Etsy shop. (This could get to be a habit!) A one-of-a-kind stunner: the Day at the Beach Necklace. Sterling, lapis lazuli, and red aventurine. The combination just reminded me of a warm summer day. Or maybe it's just wishful thinking because it's currently snowing out!...
I'm trying to be better about listing new items in my Etsy shop. Really. (I'm just lazy about taking pictures is all.) So, here's my stunning, sterling Molecule Necklace. I like bib style necklaces and want to make more of them. With the right outfit, they can be real showstoppers.
Actually, this is a new version of a previous design. This style of necklace, with a bold graphic in wire hung from tubing on a thin black cord, is something that I really enjoy creating. I love the clean, modern line. Modern, but also somewhat tribal. Really appeals. I've done others of these and there will be more in the future. The response to them has been very positive, which is even further encouragement to continue making them! I currently have another design in stock, but don't yet have a photo of it. This particular piece, Rainfall Necklace, is currently available in my Etsy shop.
A new design that's actually an old design. The original (which has already been sold) was something I made and it sat and sat on my bench. On one recent foray into bench cleaning, it got put in the "I've got to do something with this" pile. I did. I finally cleaned it up, oxidized it, brushed it, tumbled it and put it on my table at the Saturday Market. It sold the first day out. Seems people really like things like moon and stars (and hearts and suns and stuff like that). So I made more. Here's the Starry Night Necklace, available in my Etsy shop and on my table at the Saturday Market.
Another take on a design I've made before. It was similar, but, um, different. The large honey-colored agate is bezel set in sterling. Oxidized and brushed back for an antiqued feel. Chalcedony heishi decorate the chain, which clasps in front with another swirl. 
The pendant of this necklace is almost 4" long. Not for the faint of heart! This is what you wear when you are galumphing through the tulgey wood. If you are going, you can get this Forest Fably Necklace in my Etsy shop.
I had been doing a few Floating Heart necklaces and was making another when one thing lead to another and I created this one with a sort of web in it. It can mean many different things to different people. I know what it means to me, but I ain't tellin'. Because of the way they are made, this necklace is one-of-a-type (I may make more, but none will be exactly alike). This Caught Necklace is available in my Etsy shop.
An interrobang is a non-standard punctuation mark that combines a question mark and an exclamation point. It expresses wonder or incredulity (You did what?!). This is the latest in the series of punctuation mark necklaces that I've recently created. 
One of the things that I particularly like about this is that it's fully representational and almost abstract at the same time. It's bold and modern and not everyone will recognize what exactly it is. The Interrobang Necklace is currently available in my Etsy shop.
Going through my stuff looking for something, I found this heart link chain that I must have bought for last Valentine's Day and did nothing with. I pulled it out and paired it with these tiny Czech glass beads. The beads were used for an earring design that I don't sell anymore, so I had a few different color pinks, some red and a delicious iridescent green. The beads are clustered at the center and then sprinkled up the rest of the chain. 
It's a little different for me - a beaded chain - and it's also longer than I usually make at just over 24". The finishing touch was the decision to oxidize it which really makes the little spots of color pop. I think it would be perfect for that little black or red Valentine's dress. I call it Sweetheart Mint Necklace and it's currently available in my Etsy with free shipping (in the US only).
Inspired by my vacation to Oahu...
Another in my line of stepping stone jewelry. I'm loving the asymmetry and the various lengths of rivets that connect the pieces. Gives it a modern, spiderwebby, abstract feel. It took a bit to work through the riveting to make sure it hung correctly. 
I ended up having to shift around how it is positioned because it was wonky the original direction. Not only don't I think it hurt the design, but I like it better this way. Love those "art accidents" that help. I call this one Divergence Necklace and it's available in my Etsy shop.
Kinda says it all. Or most of it anyway. Angry, happy, excited; all expressed in a little symbol. I'm thinking I like the simplicity of punctuation. Might have to do others. The exclamation point I call Exclaim Necklace and it's available in my Etsy shop. Or should I say Exclaim! Necklace!?
I call it Java Necklace. It's handmade oval chain links of heat-oxidized sterling.
Maybe with the economic "downturn"*, I've been going back to basics. Here's a simple, elegant design, but a bit heavier/chunkier. Sterling rings linked by 3 lengths of rolo chain. It's long, 32", so it slips right over the head and doesn't have a clasp. It can be worn several ways: just as it is; over one shoulder; looped several times around the wrist for a fab bracelet; and 
(in the photo) I've tied it up on itself with a bit of ribbon. Called the Pursuit Necklace, it's available in my Etsy shop.

Another vintage find. The focus of this simple necklace is a vintage Japanese pressed glass cabochon. The 3D flowers are in a lovely warm coral color (what attracted me to them in the first place). Bezel set on sterling and oxidized for an antique finish, it's simple and sweet and eye catching. The Sunrise Bouquet necklace is available in my Etsy shop.
really nicely with the dark oxidation. I call it Nan Porcelain and it's available in my Etsy shop. Look for more of these ovals to be coming out soon in various designs - although I'm sort of partial to the simpler design that focuses on the porcelain.
I found these great brass filigree flowers and had to have me a few. The center is a forest-green chrysoprase rondelle. The weight of the stone was causing the flower to hang downward even if I had a device (wire or such) running up the back. It's little technical problems like this that occupy the other side of my brain. I love 
working through solutions that are both practical and aesthetically pleasing. Riveting the flower to a copper leaf-shape let the piece sit correctly and retained the floral image. I call it Autumnal Flora (clever, I know!) and it's available in my Etsy shop.
